I made an open-source, command-line-based, journaling social network.
I had a similar idea recently and made a git-backed journaling CLI tool. It creates an entry per day, so that each commit is a day's notes. It's framed as a means to log one's development process while creating software but can be used for personal (in a private repo) or social (in a public repo) daily journaling.
