jailm8 VS OpenCore-Install-Guide

I tried to do that first but it didn't work. So I try to manully put my iPhone into DFU mode. Maybe it the problem with ubuntu usb driver or sth idk. But Jailm8 work for me.

I recommend you follow the guide at https://github.com/SarKaa/jailm8/wiki/Jailm8-wiki as it's pretty straightforward. Just make sure when you attempt to jailbreak that you enable the BPR bypass in checkra1n's advanced settings or it won't succeed.

I'd like to add my +1 for jailm8, which has already been updated to checkra1n 0.12.4. It's been super stable for me and has a few other utilities built in, like iRecovery (which can kick you our of DFU mode). Here's the link: https://github.com/SarKaa/jailm8/releases. Just follow this guide for setting it up and it works great.

If you have a PC and a USB thumb drive, use this. Works great. If you don't have a computer at all, you could invest in a ra1nbox; they're super convenient but they're a bit pricey.

Jailm8 is another option; you boot it from a USB thumb drive and it boots right into checkra1n. Has a few other solid features too. Instructions are here -- it's super simple to set up. I have an ancient laptop I'd more or less junked a long time ago and now it's a dedicated checkra1n box using jailm8. :)

To keep costs down, Keep an eye on local market place and classified sites for a cheapish gaming PC with an AMD card in it (RX’s 5700 / 5700xt / 5600xt / 6600xt / 6600). Look up the parts here on Reddit and https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/ to see if people have problems or methods needed to make them work.

Idk much about amd gpu support but u can check it on Dortania’s open core guide which I highly recommend you to follow
