- [ANN] Yampa 0.14.4
- [ANN] Yampa 0.14.2, yampa-gloss 0.2.1, haskanoid 0.1.6, and more
-
[ANN] Yampa 0.14.1
Haskanoid (https://github.com/ivanperez-keera/haskanoid) is not a tutorial, but I built that game on purpose to try to help people understand Yampa (it has lots of comments and I tried to pay attention to the structure). It should be fully compatible with Yampa-0.14.1, although you may need to bump that constraint in the cabal file.
What are some alternatives?
When comparing SpaceInvaders and haskanoid you can also consider the following projects:
simple-affine-space - A simple implementation of affine spaces and vector spaces
dominion - A Dominion simulator in Haskell
yampa-gloss - A gloss backend for yampa
breakout - Breakout
dunai - Classic FRP, Arrowized FRP, Reactive Programming, and Stream Programming, all via Monadic Stream Functions
