What's you favorite version of tetris to play on pc?
I personally love tetr.io, but what do you guys recommend?
-
Lit-up.io is live
I could, of course put garbage at the bottom, and have the player get rid of it by a wise move, but this isn't the game design we were going for, and, I re-iterate, copying 100% what others do is not what we're here for. Tetr.io is great, but don't want to clone other platforms gameplay.

Tetris helping against obsessive thoughts
YES!!!!! I was diagnosed with OCD this year, and I discovered tetr.io in the summer. I haven't stopped playing since. I have 200+ hours in the game and I'm almost level 800. It helps so much with intrusive thoughts!! Never would've thought that someone would have the same experience as me.

ads blocking playing screen on tetr.io
Sorry if this is a stupid question. Just today, I've been noticing more disruptive ads on tetr.io that are blocking part of the playing area. Usually they just stay at the bottom of the screen, no big deal. But a couple of times today, the ad was bigger and moving around and covering part of the playing area. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening?

Stuck in S rank, please give tips
So I've been stuck in S rank (in tetr.io) for a while now and am not seeing that much improvement. How can I get better at the game (username is SIREMELON if that helps)?

Quandino - I didn't love the available "falling block" games for Playdate so I made my own
After trying out Rainblocks and Playtris/Blockdate (as well as contributing to Blockdate). I found that they didn't give me the experience I wanted coming from tetr.io (PC Tetris clone).

What is your favorite online time killer?

These aren't progress-based but: tetr.io because tetris is fun. you can also play lots of board games on Tabletop Simulator. My bf and I play Overwatch 2 the most as our bonding videogame (we finish everything else lol).

bruhJustLemmeDownloadTheSdk
Use a package manager! Assuming Windows (since it's the odd one out), get yourself some scoop then just scoop install openjdk. No need to navigate to a website, download bundleware, click next-next-next and accidentally install a virus like some caveman from 1997. This has been a solved problem since ancient times!

How easy is it to setup Neovim and Nvchad on windows?
Should be easy enough, I installed neovim on my windows machine with scoop (you can even get nightly if you want), it's basically a one line install. You can also do a manual install if you want, but you don't have to. It took a little fiddling for me because I wanted to install scoop as well as all applications onto my D drive rather than my C drive, but nothing too crazy. I never got NvChad on my windows machine, but I do have it on linux, and siduck (the creator of nvchad) has given good instructions for installing even on windows, so i don't think it should be a problem. Also, there's a discord for nvchad, and siduck is pretty active on there if you want to ask questions. Good luck!

Calibre – New in Calibre 7.0
I update it with Brew on macOS and Scoop [1] on Windows (but I guess it is included in other package managers such as chocolatey).
Of course, a built-in auto-updater would be good, but a packaged version is a nice workaround for me.

Installing Scoop for all users
So I tried installing scoop the "normal" way for both users then ran scoop install {app} --global as per https://github.com/ScoopInstaller/Scoop/wiki/Global-Installs and got:Cannot find path 'C:\ProgramData\scoop\buckets' because it does not exist
