    In Antix or MXLinux you have iso-snapshot. In Ubuntu you can try https://sourceforge.net/projects/systemback/ For any other distro try https://github.com/cleverwise/cya maybe it is not what you are looking for exactly, but being a "simple" bash script it works perfectly to generate snapshots and system rollbacks
