instascrape VS instagram-php-scraper

There are Instagram scrapers that you can use for this if you don't want to use the Instagram api. It can fetch a lot of posts, but you should rate limit it.

In this blog post, I'm going to give a quick tutorial on how you can scrape every post on an Instagram profile page using instascrape with less than 10 lines of Python!

This year was my first Hacktoberfest, and I really enjoyed the event. This was my first time trying to really get into open source. I appreciate ds912 for creating Good First Issues, which helped me find good open source projects that I felt like I was capable of contributing to, like the lovely Instascrape by @chrisgreening . I learned how Hacktoberfest is more than just submitting pull requests that serve some value, but also making connections with other people in the open source community. While Hacktoberfest wasn't executed perfectly this year, the celebration of open source certainly has had some positive impacts and has taught me a lot.

I'd like to set-up a proxy on my raspberry pi, running at home that I can use on my VPS for https://github.com/postaddictme/instagram-php-scraper via the "Using proxy for requests:" as my accounts are taken out because not complying with Instagram's terms and conditions.

You could look into this Python scraper, but it's a bit buggy. There's also this PHP scraper you can use to get all the comments.
