How To download Saves from instagram?
There was a FOSS program that worked. The problem is, if they detect anything remotely like scraping, they'll ban your account. I don't know what a good "pause" amount of time to set in the program would be to get around their flags. I think this was the one I used before (and got my account banned.) https://github.com/arc298/instagram-scraper And then if you don't login, they make you wait a really long time between downloads and you can't access some information (like your saves.)

Can't call python scripts from zsh on Mac
You are correct, I should be using programName directly, not sure why I was invoking it using python3. The package is instagram-scraper. Still, when I just call "instagram-scraper" with appropriate arguments I get:

Exporting Instagram Saved Items
Eventually I did find a cool script by u/lifelongerliver called Instascraper. The only issue is that after it pulls 500 saved items, the account gets automatically blocked by instagram for fishy activity. And unfortunately, the develop seems to inactive. (hope everything's okay on your side if you can read this ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
