VancedManager VS webtube

If you're on Android, you can use YouTube Vanced, which used to have a much simpler install process, but after a cease and desist letter was sent to the developers of the app, you had to compile from source yourself (make your own APK with the code available on GitHub). Now there is an alpha foss Vanced Manager, which does work well but may need tweaking.

You can try Vanced Extended, it's basically the same but has the newer YT app UI and some new features including integration of Powertube for downloading vids. Works well in my experience but I think the creator has abandoned it because of ReVanced

Oh it might've been this one which I think was another continuation of Vanced, but was actually discontinued a bit ago because ReVanced already existed

the closest of YouTube app without so much compensation is https://github.com/inotia00/VancedManager but it's of course not de-googled

You should be using WebTube instead. Much better then other alternatives and Official YouTube. Has all the features including AgeBypasser
