3 finger touchpad gesture to switch between groups
I don't think there are native gestures in qtile. I use fusuma, since it works better for me on X11 and wayland, but I've also used libinput-gestures in the past when on X11, and that works too.

I got an error while trying to use fusuma
I'm new to linux, running last version of ubuntu MATE. Tried to get fusuma to have a better experience with my touchpad (I'm using hp notebook). I followed the whole guide for ubuntu on the Github page, created the config.yml using these two commands:

I've had enough of the fact that there isn't a way to change the 4-finger swipe down touchpad gesture to trigger the overview instead of the present windows effect...
For info, I've been using Fusuma to configure my touchpad gestures and it is awesome!

Asahi Linux To Users: Please Stop Using X.Org
https://github.com/iberianpig/fusuma this might do the job? I have been using it on Hyprland and, despite the downside of being in Ruby, it works really well and seems stable.

3 Finger Workspace instead of 4.
I use Fusuma to manage gestures and have deactivated the COSMIC gestures extension.

This laptop has a trackpad above the keyboard
The gestures are interpretations of the touch signals that the trackpad provides, and those signals are available to your computer. The gestures and their functions are features of the operating system, but you can define your own gesture with tools like https://github.com/iberianpig/fusuma. Are you mad that the Magic Trackpad does not come with a full set of gesture support for Mint, Gnome, i3, or any of the gosh hundreds of window managers out there? What would you expect to happen to resolve this complaint?

Can I add custome trackpad gestures to pop_os?
I like using fusuma.

Additional gestures.
Thx! I actually looked at this, but it only can emulate shortcuts pressing, as I get it. Instead I tried https://github.com/iberianpig/fusuma which has more features and works perfectly with Hyprland.

Touchpad gesture
I use Fusuma to configure my gestures and it is awesome!

Using i3 on a laptop is such a great experience
you can install fusuma (https://github.com/iberianpig/fusuma) and add their i3 config (https://github.com/iberianpig/fusuma/wiki/i3) for a start

The day KDE implements Windows 10 touchpad gestures will be the last day for my Windows partition
I can only agree about the obsession the developers seem to have about workspace gestures. However, my solution was installing the Gestures app combined with xdotool (or ydotool if on Wayland). Now I can configure whatever combination of touchpad gestures I want.

Any way to use KDE Plasma 5.25 Gestures on X11?
Gestures is another alternative. Been using it for the past two years, works great and is very easy to configure.

Is there a way to change the trackpad gesture for the overview effect to a different one?
I have previously configured gestures using https://gitlab.com/cunidev/gestures.

Is it possible to map keystrokes to 3-finger swipe gestures (for example alt+left for backswiping) on a touchpad in Manjaro?
I've tried touche and gestures but neither of these two seems to work. For example, I mapped the following syntax in gestures: "xdotool key alt+left" (or alt_l+left) to be able to backswipe in Google Chrome but nothing happens. The same goes for touche. I would appreciate your help.

This week in KDE: Stable desktop icons and even better gestures
Can someone give the command for the above effect so I can configure it via gestures?

Cant install extended gestures, fedora 35, gnome 41, Wayland
I found the Gesture flatpack, but it just says "unsupported on Wayland session" to my costume gestures. Probably because the gesture is already taken. Is there a way to disable the wayland gesture, so it instead uses my custom gesture?

(DWM) Can I Bind a Keybinding to Another Key?
I haven't tried, but the key codes here looks like they might be of use: https://gitlab.com/cunidev/gestures/-/wikis/xdotool-list-of-key-codes
