Installing Ubuntu to Mac vs Installing to a virtual machine, difference?
Hey all, I'm a bit new to Linux and want to learn about this new world as many different may be here. I have a Macbook Pro 2019 16in (Touchbar) and I want to install Ubuntu (I have 22.04 downloaded at this time). I found these instructions on installing Ubuntu to my similar model of laptop https://github.com/marcosfad/mbp-ubuntu. I saw another thread on an apple page and they suggested just installing Ubuntu on a VM instead for stability. I'm wondering what the difference would be for installing it on a VM vs my computer. Does anybody know of the benefits or consequences of this?

Pop OS on 2020 Mac Mini?
I had all sorts of issues running every single popular distro (at least in my opinion) like Arch, Debian, Fedora, Ubuntu, Manjaro, Pop, and even FreeBSD but I had 0 luck. Finally, I tried this iso with the patches included but no luck with WiFi.
