No wonder more people don’t use Linux, trying to find a way to download this OS is impossible…

Installing Ubuntu to Mac vs Installing to a virtual machine, difference?
Hey all, I'm a bit new to Linux and want to learn about this new world as many different may be here. I have a Macbook Pro 2019 16in (Touchbar) and I want to install Ubuntu (I have 22.04 downloaded at this time). I found these instructions on installing Ubuntu to my similar model of laptop https://github.com/marcosfad/mbp-ubuntu. I saw another thread on an apple page and they suggested just installing Ubuntu on a VM instead for stability. I'm wondering what the difference would be for installing it on a VM vs my computer. Does anybody know of the benefits or consequences of this?

How secure would it be to use whonix on Ubuntu as a dual boot on Mac?
I’m wondering if using this guide to dualboot a specific patched version of Ubuntu to work on the newer Mac model I have would be safe security wise with using whonix? Or if I should just use a different machine and get qubes

Pop OS on 2020 Mac Mini?
I had all sorts of issues running every single popular distro (at least in my opinion) like Arch, Debian, Fedora, Ubuntu, Manjaro, Pop, and even FreeBSD but I had 0 luck. Finally, I tried this iso with the patches included but no luck with WiFi.

Ubuntu on Macbook Pro 2018 Touch Bar
I think this can be set up in the touch-bar configuration. There are modes like 0 -> Show Only Function keys, 1-> Show media Controls, and so on. This is the driver I installed: https://github.com/t2linux/apple-ib-drv
