Lastly there is the "i2pd way" which is a third-party project to implement an I2P router in C++. They build a portable browser bundle for Windows users too. https://github.com/PurpleI2P/i2pdbrowser/releases/tag/1.3.3 The Java and C++ developers work closely with eachother.

How in the world do you use ip2d?
i2pd is a router that presents API's to adapt applications with, the built-in applications it has are extremely minimal. That's their thing. They have a separate browser distribution which is probably what you need. I have other options if you don't want that one but if you intend to use i2pd, then probably also use their browser.

First time installed I2pd on my Pop os system. Please guide me how to go about forward after the installation.
There are two. The one from i2pd is here: https://github.com/PurpleI2P/i2pdbrowser/releases/tag/1.3.0 It should be able to help you. It's pretty straightforward and tor-browser-like, it just ships a browser config and NoScript with an i2pd router.

Someone said there are a lot of NSA-owned exit nodes for TOR? Is this true? & if so what are the ramifications of this? and what can be done to counterbalance this? -Thanks.
I am pretty sure of this. They are trying to de-anonymize users by running their own nodes and at the same time dos-ing the real nodes (so that chances people are using the NSA nodes increases). The best way to counterbalance this is to run more real nodes and also protect those from their DoS. Issue about DoS https://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/community/support/-/issues/40093 the firewall rules: https://github.com/Enkidu-6/tor-ddos (from the above issue)
