Samsung TV and HomeBridge
I also did not get the pair pop up until I did this (from the wiki), then restarted HomeBridge. On TV go to Settings - General - External Device Manager - Device Connection Manager - Device List and make sure you didn't select Deny. Try to hard reset your TV. To do this turn ON the TV then press on power key from the remote for 3 seconds until TV restarts and show Samsung logo. Still not seeing the TV in HomeKit, but at least it got me past this step.

HomeKit TV Best Currently Available
While not direclty homekit compatible, the recent updates to the samsung tizen homebridge plugin have given my 2020 Frame TV a nice update. https://github.com/tavicu/homebridge-samsung-tizen

Try „Homebridge Samsung Tizen“ plugin by tavicu if it‘s not the one you‘ve mentioned. Just search for „Tizen“ in the plugin tab of the Homebridge Web UI or look here: https://github.com/tavicu/homebridge-samsung-tizen

Samsung TV
I got mine set up in HomeKit using the homebridge-samsung-tizen plugin. I don’t have a Frame, just a garden-variety LED panel, but I believe this plugin supports the Frame models.
- Any way of changing a TV’s input (HDMI Source) with HomeBridge?

After 17 years, I'm moving on...
FYI, you can run my homebridge plugin directly on the Hub Pro itself and get much better reliability/features than the actual Hub Pro. See here: https://github.com/kuestess/homebridge-platform-insteonlocal
-
Is the hub still supposed to work even with the servers shutdown?
u/contrarianbynature The Hub Pro is actually a PLM connected to a beaglebone black inside the box, and you can run homebridge and my homebridge plugin to get all of the functionality (and more) back. See here: https://github.com/kuestess/homebridge-platform-insteonlocal

InsteonLocal Plugin: Error and Looping: dnsmasq: no process found
I fixed it by downgrading my InsteonLocal plugin to 0.4.24 (April 18, 2022). This removed the dnsmasq error. I stumbled across this solution in a gitub repository forum here: https://github.com/kuestess/homebridge-platform-insteonlocal/issues/218

Apple Homekit & Siri and Insteon Hub (HomeKit-enabled) 2243-222. This thread is to discuss those using 2243-222 and it’s ramifications.
In addition to having a PLM, theres a BeagleBoard Single Board Computer in there. For more sophisticated control than the OEM Insteon software, some people have gotten Homebridge running on it. https://github.com/kuestess/homebridge-platform-insteonlocal
- Insteon Abruptly Shuts Down, Users Left Smart-Home-Less
- Besides ISY with serial PLM, is there any other integration that can add/remove devices and add/remove links between devices in the Insteon environment? For clarity, I’m talking about the peer to peer links, not just links to the PLM or Hub.

Turning off thermostat if door(s) open for more than 10 minutes (using homebridge, SSH, JSON REST API, AppleScript)
I'm fairly new to HomeKit, but have a fair amount of home automation hardware (ecobee thermostat, Insteon door, motion, and water sensors, Insteon light switches, Logitech Harmony Hubs, etc.). Have been migrating everything over from Indigo over the past few weeks, including upgrading to an eero wifi network (excellent!) and using Homebridge to bring in the Insteon hardware (with the Homebridge Platform InsteonLocal plugin). Bringing the hardware in and controlling it with basic steps was pretty straightforward.
