How do I get this functionality using React Native?
You can use react-native-snap-carousel to create the image slider and use a method given in the package (ex: onSlideFinished) to fade in and out your text/view on the bottom. I haven’t tried any fade in and out packages, I’m sure you can manually animate it. Found this for fading in and out views, give it a try and see.

Is there a react native component for pagination like this or do I have to create my own?

Is there a package that does something like this for items? Just don’t want to reinvent a wheel if it’s already rolling…
https://github.com/meliorence/react-native-snap-carousel has something like this for a single item (with the others trailing off to the side)... Not sure about multiple foreground items though.
