The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

It might be too late to get anything started. This guy has a great basic web scraper that just downloads the raw HTML and stores each game page in a folder. I just took the carnage report and summary to store as a single line to condense. His code doesn't check for server errors so it might miss a bit, but it's the best start you can get.

Since Bungie is shutting down the old Halo stats pages, I figured I'd share my R script for scraping Halo 2 and Halo 3 stats.
I have a solution here for that, but not pictures, just the raw html data: https://github.com/ScottBurger/halo_preserver

Bungie's Halo website to go offline Feb 9th
A little late but I wrote a python script to pull all the halo 3 heatmaps for a particular gamertag, if anyone is interested. It should come out to 24480 files... every kill and death, with/by every weapon, on every multiplayer map, for each influence intensity (1-10). Can be adjusted if you're comfortable in python.
