I also added the ebuild to GURU! https://github.com/gentoo/guru/commit/a3a749f80dbc78199c2526e5692374b3fd882e41 Should arrive in the master branch soon (I hope, usually the worst case is a few days).

Search Gentoo GURU — basically AUR for Gentoo — and see if the package exists there. If it does, use that one.
