Installed Androidx86 on FWIN232 windows tablet
I previously (several years ago) installed android x86 in a windows tablet and faced similar issues. The cause was an incorrect firmware file used by the touchscreen. I was able to find one here (This will probably not work for you, but you may find one). I also found that the kernel driver (the *.ko file) for the silead touch screen has configuration for different models. The old version of the driver attached the configuration to the firmware file itself (at the end of the file), whereas the new driver included the configuration in the code itself (IMO a big step backwards).

Is there a way to get Windows drivers working on Linux, if so, how difficult is the process to get them working?
I've looked online for Linux firmware that supports the hardware on the Cambio. The only thing I've managed to find is a GitHub page that provides Linux firmware for touchscreen controllers manufactured by Silead (Link to GitHub page). I was able to install the firmware, but the touchscreen and "auto screen rotation" didn't work correctly.

Trying to get touchscreen support on a PCBox tablet.
Here is the output. I've been messing with a ton of things, nothing works. I've found this thread that looked promising. Apparently many people have extracted firmware for this touchscreen, but it's on completely different devices. I think the tablet I have is a regional thing, only sold here (I haven't even heard of the "PCBox" brand anywhere else).

How do I find and install additional drivers for my Linux PC?
There is a GitHub page that says it's possible to run Ubuntu on the Cambio (link), but the instructions shown on the site look to be a bit out of my league.
