Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

- GRBL settings for duplicating X Axis to Y Axis
- Arduino 2560 can’t upload Grbl
-
Add 4th axis (rotation along the Z axis) on a GRBL CNC
If you use Arduino Mega, you could control up to 6 axis as i know: https://github.com/fra589/grbl-Mega-5X
-
I've made a fifthaxis! it is hobby-sized
For a 5 axis firmware I'm using this https://github.com/fra589/grbl-Mega-5X it's based on GRBL-Mega and it plays super nice on a Ramps shield (super cheap and easy to find).

can i control arduino outputs on a GRBL mega?like to manually code an ATC,or to switch few solenoids
Try this version: https://github.com/fra589/grbl-Mega-5X
-
Grbl on Creality 8Bit Board
You could use https://github.com/gnea/grbl-Mega or https://github.com/fra589/grbl-Mega-5X And you need to know the pin usage of your board, to setup the config.h file

Added 4th axis to my Arduino powered CNC mill
If your are using grbl, this repo might be of interest. Haven't used it but it seems popular enough for a 5 axis grbl firmware. https://github.com/fra589/grbl-Mega-5X
-
Pen plotter
Probably yes, it seems to use a Mega 2560, so you could use https://github.com/gnea/grbl-Mega or https://github.com/fra589/grbl-Mega-5X

Any experts out there willing to help out a struggling newbie?
LaserGRBL’s website seems pretty good. If you haven’t already, it’s worth clicking on the ‘Usage’ tab and having a read of that stuff. Here is a link https://lasergrbl.com

Laser Engraving?
https://lasergrbl.com/ is a way to stream G-code to an arduino using windows so we are a step closer here but there are a lot of in-between steps that we are missing like how we are going to power the laser (can our boards handle this/have the right connections or do we need to slap some auxiliary electronic board on and then figure out how to yell commands at it)
What are some alternatives?
GRBL-Pendant-with-LCD - Arduino UNO or MEGA Pendant with LCD for GRBL 1.1f (Jog X Y Z and send any Command while connected to PC simultaneously)
Universal-G-Code-Sender - A cross-platform G-Code sender for GRBL, Smoothieware, TinyG and G2core.
LaserWeb4 - Collaborative effort on the next version of LaserWeb / CNCWeb
grblHAL - This repo has moved to a new home https://github.com/grblHAL
GRBL-Plotter - A GCode sender (not only for lasers or plotters) for up to two GRBL controller. SVG, DXF, HPGL import. 6 axis DRO.
grbl-L-Mega - An open source, embedded, high performance g-code-parser and CNC milling controller written in optimized C that will run on an Arduino Mega2560. Forked from GRBL modified for use on a lathe with spindle sync threading
cncjs - A web-based interface for CNC milling controller running Grbl, Marlin, Smoothieware, or TinyG.
grbl - An open source, embedded, high performance g-code-parser and CNC milling controller written in optimized C that will run on a straight Arduino
FluidNC - The next generation of motion control firmware
MKS-DLC32 - MKS DLC32 motherboard kit, which is an offline engraving master control kit developed for desktop engraving machines. The hardware is equipped with a 32-bit high-speed ESP32 module, integrated WIFI function, and directly drives a 3.5-inch touch color screen; it can realize fast engraving and WEB web pages. Control, mobile phone APP control and other functions.
