I've been fascinated for years how badly GPS does altitude (mean-sea-level)

in the USA they had to build an augmentation system for airplanes for altitude (WAAS)

Use https://github.com/barbeau/gpstest (Android only). It give the most real time data on GPS and accuracy.

I'm the developer of the GPSTest app, and I built a crowd-sourced database of device GPS/GNSS capabilities.

It is possible on quite a few modern Android phones to access raw receiver data and do post-processing using a rinet file to get mm-level accuracy. If you did not install GApps try outdoor with an unobstructed view of the sky for 10 minutes to get the first fix with apps like GPSTest by barbeau or SatStat for example.

I hope more people can contribute with GPSTest app.

For a visual of what speed accuracy figures one might expect, I suggest trying GPSTest (not to be confused with similarly named apps). It'll display accuracy values along with many other values.

I can see GPS, Galileo, Chinese, Russian, and Japanese ones.

ViMusic - looks nice, works reliably, but very direct with YouTube, all local z-huang/music - similar to the above, in early development BlackHole - very similar but more feature-loaded, has Spotify support but that didn't work for me all that well HoloPlay - which uses an Invidious instance and can connect to your account, but is little harder to setup, doesn't have subscriptions/feed functionality, and is now undeveloped for quite long MusicPiped - which, contrary to it's name, also uses Invidious, is also unmaintained for a long time and at least for me, doesn't even seem to work

HoloPlay (version 1.11.2): HoloPlay is a audio only alternative Youtube client using Invidious API.

For now I've settled on HoloPlay, which is open source. Not the best experience but gets the basic job done, which is to play audio. & dvd which is a gui front-end of youtube-dl for Android.

Oh...you just might want to try out Habits(a simple habit tracker) or maybe Holoplay (A youtube alternative using invidious api)

I found HoloPlay which is nice, but doesn't support autoplay. You just need to find an invidious instance close to you
