Google Photos Deduper
I built a tool that allows you to review and delete duplicate photos: https://github.com/mtalcott/google-photos-deduper
I used it on my own library of ~70k photos to delete ~20k duplicates. Hope it can work for others too. There seems to be interest in this feature from Google Photos users, but it hasn't ever made its way into the product.

I modified React Content Script to give an easy template to get started with React and Typescript when building your chrome extensions.
Resources were few and far between and the ones that had good info seemed to be lacking on other areas. My goal was the inject my react app into another webpage. This repo got me part of the way there but didn't have anything hooked up to background scripts and contained some extra files that were confusing to me at first. I decided to make a template / example starting point that others can use based off that repo.

Use react hook and state injected into webpage?
Check out https://github.com/yosevu/react-content-script - this has an example of a react content script. I added a count and event listener locally and it worked just fine as a content script.

How to inject a React app in a Chrome Extension as a Content Script
This is an update to an article I wrote on Medium in 2017 called How to inject a React app into a Chrome Extension as a content script. A few people have been interested in it, but it is out of date and the source code needed to be updated for React 17. Find the updated version on GitHub: https://github.com/yosevu/react-content-script.
