Maintainer for GnuCash Android (or a replacement for it)
GnuCash Android is used by hundreds of thousands of people, but there's been no development for more than 3 years. It's a superb app but it's showing it's age (crashes when used on newer Android, lacks dark theme, no new features etc) so it would be great to have a new maintainer for it, or perhaps a reimplementation of it if a developer would prefer that (though a fork personally).
What are some alternatives?
When comparing gnucash-select and gnucash-android you can also consider the following projects:
piecash - Pythonic interface to GnuCash SQL documents
Retrofit - A type-safe HTTP client for Android and the JVM
ZXing - ZXing ("Zebra Crossing") barcode scanning library for Java, Android
MPAndroidChart - A powerful 🚀 Android chart view / graph view library, supporting line- bar- pie- radar- bubble- and candlestick charts as well as scaling, panning and animations.
