I dare you
My biggest problem is the lack of keyboard remapping software. I use Fedora on a MacBook and rely heavily on remaps like gnome-macos-remap for day-to-day use alongside macOS.

Help binding C-<left> and C-<right>
Nevermind I found the culprit. I use https://github.com/petrstepanov/gnome-macos-remap with autokey which prevents some keybindings from working properly. Thank you for your help!

Could we please talk about keyboard shortcuts for a second?
I am hopeless of Gnome designer team reach a consensus, but it if was possible I code an extension to override the shortcuts (instead of not having to use AutoKey), it would be heavenly.

When I’m the Developer using Mac…
Idk, if you're using Wayland or X11, but there does seem to be this solution for Gnome on X11 using Autokey. From the readme the dev is also likely trying to reimplement a similar solution for Wayland next.

[lemur pro] Invert F keys to work without "Fn" key?
These two projects have been helpful to me. The former of which both of my systems use in some modified form though I'd strongly consider starting with the latter today: - https://github.com/petrstepanov/gnome-macos-remap - https://github.com/rbreaves/kinto
- Using MacOS Ctrl, Option and Command keys on Linux as you would use on Mac (also work on "windows" keyboards).

Windows feature that resets system clocks based on random data is wreaking havoc
Unless you need the newest features, Photoshop runs surprisingly well under Wine - and I don't mean this in the usual "oh yea, Wine totally works" way where it's a huge pain to set up and is 90% luck, it actually runs with barely more glitches than on Windows (not zero, but it's Adobe software, so you can't expect much).
This is the installer I used to use: https://github.com/Gictorbit/photoshopCClinux
This one is newer and looks even more promising: https://github.com/LinSoftWin/Photoshop-CC2022-Linux

Why do you tolerate this nonsense
There are Linux repacks for Photoshop which isn't exactly legal but it sets up wine and it's much easier than installing it on windows https://github.com/Gictorbit/photoshopCClinux

Linux Workstation for Media?
Since then, I try to keep an eye on DaVinci Resolve things (like MakeResolveDeb) and things like the WinApps/cassowary, Gictorbit/MiMillieuh Photoshop installer, and Photogimp, or news like about OBS being officially supported on Linux through Flatpak and why that matters.
