What is your personal way of using Anki?
Highly recommend Fill the blanks plugin for learning programming languages. Especially combined with Syntax highlight for code it makes it much easier to familiarize with various frameworks and technologies. Also I use LPCG for poetry and lists.

Add-on for other definitions
Perhaps Pop-up Dictionary (beta) might be close to it. However, since this add-on is a beta, it seems to work only with older Anki. It could probably be used with Glutanimate patreon, but it is unclear if it works. (I have not found many add-ons similar to this add-on.)
-
How do I insert link content into a card?
You're most likely looking for a separate add-on, coding this yourself would be too much work. You can just google for pop up dictionary add-ons and take your pick. For example, just found this one: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/153625306

Can I refer or link to another card on the back of a card?

RTK popup Anki addon based on popup dictionary
So since I finished RTK/grammar a while back and I started my own mining deck playing through a VN, I thought it'd be useful to have a quick reminder of the kanjis I find in words with the keywords/stories from my RTK deck, I saw there was nothing readily available so I hacked something up basing it off Glutanimate's popup-dictionary, their repo is here: https://github.com/glutanimate/popup-dictionary and I'm grateful to them! My modified version is here https://workupload.com/file/hxcgtZvcw4J
