gelato-ui VS leva

My goal was to try a few new libraries and get experience under my belt (cause isn’t that what dev blogs are for?). I’d swap out Gatsby for **Astro,** and Styled Components + Styled System for **Vanilla Extract**. I was interested in trying Astro as it just hit 1.0, and I’ve been experimenting for a while with Vanilla Extract as a way to write Typescript powered styles and export to CSS.

You can find the design system I was experimenting with on Github, I called it Gelato UI in honor of the Vanilla Extract it takes to make it.

I created a GUI library, it's very useful for the visual editor and it can be very easy to generate config panel for options. If you don't know about GUI library, maybe you can checkout some other famous open source project ( dat.gui, tweakpane, leva).

For the post processing I used @react-three/post-processing components, and to get the look just right I created a debug panel using Leva to adjust some values (like bokeh blur).

Don’t hesitate to put every configuration variable (columns, lines, layers, spacing …) for this grid in a tool like leva to make it look like what you want.
