This tutorial uses the Gatsby starter to test the wishlist functionality added to the Medusa server. However, you can still follow along using a different storefront framework.

Last month, our team at Medusa built a new advanced Next.js storefront that can be used with a Medusa server. If interested in other Medusa starters, feel free to check out Medusa.Express or our Gatsby starter.

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to add live-chat functionality to your ecommerce store using Medusa, Tidio live chat, and Gatsby Storefront.

Medusa provides two starter storefronts, one built using Next.js and one using Gatsby. You can also build your own storefront by interacting with the REST APIs.

The difficult part is for the modification of store frontend. I use Medusa Gatsby Starter to my store frontend. However, there are many incompatible with my above modification of backend.

This creates a Gatsby website using the already-existing Medusa Gatsby starter.

It gives you full flexibility to build any type of frontend(s) you may prefer - Medusa has starters in Next.js or Gatsby to set up a high-performing storefront out-of-the-box so you have a good starting point before starting to customize it to your needs. Admin panel: Customize setup for local stores and channels

To install Medusa Admin, clone the Admin repo from github

You can update your Medusa admin by pulling new changes from the Medusa Admin repository into your Medusa Admin.

Medusa provides an intuitive admin built with Gatsby, but you can also create your own from scratch using the REST APIs.

You can also connect your Medusa server to the Medusa admin take full power over your ecommerce store. The Medusa admin allows store operators to manage products, orders, customers, discounts, and much more.

You can also click on the order number URL in the notification to view the order in the admin dashboard. If you don’t have an admin dashboard installed you can check out Medusa’s Admin repository to learn how you can install it.

If you also have a Medusa Admin instance installed, you can also test this out. Log in with the user you created earlier and you’ll see that you can only see the product they added.

Features and fixes included in the release of v.1.2 of Medusa and Medusa Admin. The larger issues/tickets built in this release will be highlighted with a small detailed description.
