If you want I made an installer script that do all things for you and it has a lot of features. Carefully that when you select the disk it will format it whit no message to you... 😅 I will fix it later https://gitlab.com/skikky94/gab-void-linux-installer
  • musl worth the struggle?
    1 project | /r/voidlinux | 9 May 2022
I run musl, I have no truoble at all. I use bitwarden (there is also option for migrating password from many password manager) and Firefox. But I also play a lot of games. For doing this I set up ad lxd container with X forwarding, the only downside is that I have a working Wayland environment and I can't use it because of this... 😅 If you want to setup a lxd container see this script: https://gitlab.com/skikky94/gab-void-linux-installer/-/blob/lvm/others/post-noroot.sh Note: you have to install lxd first and add your user to lxd group Note2: comment the instruction to install flatpak apps
  • Is there a "stable" rolling release distro?
    4 projects | /r/linuxmasterrace | 14 Apr 2022
None of these are considered stable and fedora is not rolling release. The only stable distribution with rolling release package management is void Linux, if you know how another one pls tell me. If you are adventures you can try my script for installation (it is in Alfa state) More complete installer is locate on the branch devel-choice2 https://gitlab.com/skikky94/gab-void-linux-installer/-/tree/devel-choice2 If it doesn't work try devel-choice

Search for void-66 https://github.com/mobinmob/void-66-services https://github.com/mobinmob/void-66-services/blob/master/conf/void-66-conf.md Or if you prefer I have made a script for installing void with 66, it is in early developing stages for now and not complete (for example it will only install amdgpu drivers but you can install it later and only KDE is set up for a minimal installation) but you can try it! https://gitlab.com/skikky94/gab-void-linux-installer/-/tree/devel-choice2 Choose this branch
