LootsheetNPC5e: Everything Loot. Trading, merchants, lootable tokens, etc.

Loot Sheet NPC 5e was just updated to v9 today, you need to use the manifest link in the bottom of their Github README and not just update through Foundry, that seems to fail.

For the second issue - after a quick glimpse at the github for the module, a few people are submitting issues that splitting is not working. Seems like you are being hit by this bug especially hard as for most people it's jsut that - not working.

they are working on an update, should be ready in a few days, you can try the module item piles which has a slightly different approach and works in v9

This module is "the killer app" that really sold me on Foundry, but I've also had a lot of trouble with it working correctly for nearly a year, with different problems along the way. It would be more helpful if you could copy any error information from the console (press f12 on Chrome or Firefox). If that doesn't help, all you can really do is submit an issue on the github (https://github.com/jopeek/fvtt-loot-sheet-npc-5e) with as much information as possible (as it's possibly something unique to your setup) and hope that the dev updates it.

Alternatively, you could use the Starfinder system on square grid maps, and then a PDF viewer + hexagonal grid maps for Lancer. Rather than relying on two systems, have the more complicated system handled by Foundry, and run Lancer on paper, using form-fillable sheets. Since both systems are D20, you can still resolve everything in Foundry - you'll just need to either make some dice macros, OR (my suggestion) grab the Dice Tray module, which can make it so much easier to quickly resolve dice rolls. https://foundryvtt.com/packages/dice-calculator . Enhanced Conditions from Combat Utility Belt (there are others that can be used for it - like DFreds Convenient Effects - but CUB is simplest).

I use this purely for the Enhanced Conditions/Condition Lab to put the CPR specific effects in (critical injuries etc..)
