Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Which prediction API do you recommend for financial market?
I'm working on a project called freqsignals, https://freqsignals.com, as a place to share signals and predictions. We have some predictions for stocks and crypto on there. I wouldn't recommend ever trading solely on external predictions, but they can be something that could bolster an argument. There is an API and documentation for integrating into a trading bot. I shared some logic behind some of our AI-Generated Signals (some free, some paid) on r/freqsignals recently.
