Apologies, that was a dumb mistake on my part, I didn't even know there was more than one. I used this component which had a guide written for it on here as recently as a month ago.

https://github.com/TheQwertiest/foo_discord_rich/releases/tag/v1.2.0 first download link on this page is all you need. on foobar hit ctrl+p and drag and drop and hit apply and it should prompt to restart. on discord go into game activity in settings. add a new game and scroll down till you see the song youre currently listening to

What are your scrobbling sources?

Audioscrobbler & Last FM not connecting. Nothing happens, can anyone advise?
I recommend switching to https://github.com/gix/foo_scrobble. It uses the foobar2000 connection authentication system, so you don't provide it with your username and password, you just use the component's authentication system that has you make the connection on last.fm.

State of foobar2000 in 2021
I believe Marc2k3 had a script which did that, but now probably the best way to do it is through the foo_enhanced_playcount component (unless you need to Love tracks). If you want fb2k to scrobble, then foo_scrobble is what you want. Don't use the older scrobbler anymore.
