OSS Alternative to Twilio

There's a service that's open source for full on features if that helps, here it is: https://fonoster.com/

You can probably use Twilio for this, but it's a paid service. The only alternative I'm aware of is Fonoster, but that's a JavaScript API - and I have no clue if it actually works.

I was looking at maybe trying to use a softphone to receive calls from an Android phone. Is there any way to do this? I'm looking at maybe trying something like https://github.com/fonoster/fonoster (self-hosted twilio) aswell.
