Damselfly
Damselfly is a server-based Photograph Management app. The goal of Damselfly is to index an extremely large collection of images, and allow easy search and retrieval of those images, using metadata such as the IPTC keyword tags, as well as the folder and file names. I'm not opposed to this idea but there's a bit of a stumbling block to get past. See the related issue on GitHub for more details (and give it a thumbs up so I can gauge interest).

Try flatnotes for the markdown editor. Simple but functional design, and works smoothly for me
