Footy scores on your Lock Screen
Using a couple of different data sources - https://github.com/jimmyday12/fitzRoy was a huge help

Data source for late quarter scores?
As a few other users have said, AFL Tables has score progressions, e.g. this one (bottom of the page). You can access it with the fitzRoy R package API so you don't have to scrape the website yourself. Only downside is it's the counting-up clock rather than the counting-down clock, so wouldn't quite suit your situation, but it might be close enough.

I created a Python wrapper for the fitzRoy API, which provides access to all sorts of AFL data
I recently discovered the fitzRoy R package while reading this old Machine Learning in AFL post. If you're into stats and data analysis I highly recommend that post!

Carlton's stats leaders, Rounds 1-11
Hey thanks. I get all the data from https://www.footywire.com/ BUT I don't really get it myself, I use a package for R called fitzRoy that can grab data from that and some other AFL stats pages. Then from R I export it to excel where I use power query (inbuilt excel feature) to organise it into pivot tables that I make the charts from.

Mildly interesting stats - Round 8
Oh yes absolutely, I use the fitzRoy package in RStudio but I export all the data to excel because I know more about excel than I do about RStudio. Getting into excel turned out to be a really simple process - I had never used RStudio before.

I created a Python wrapper for the fitzRoy API, which provides access to all sorts of AFL data
Anyway, I decided to make a Python wrapper for fitzRoy with some inbuilt data engineering tools. It's called fitzRoyPy and I wanted to share it here.
