I made an (Updated) Volta song picker.
Used this repo to make the picker! https://github.com/antialiasis/favorite-picker

Favorite Picker App
I would also like an app to do this; I've just been using DragonFly's github release: https://github.com/antialiasis/favorite-picker to make my own, but it's a time consuming thing.

[TOMT] [WEBSITE] [2000S] Website where you pick your favourite of two things/characters, sorting every single one until you have a sorted list of your favourites.
Something like this?
-
[TOMT][WEBSITE][BRACKETS] A web like flickchart but about anything you wanted and could be custom
They're called favorite pickers. The one I like to use is this, but there are a few like it.
-
[TOMT][WEBSITE]A website (any version) that I can enter in a list of options and it has you answer A or B and gives you the list item you like best.
They're favorite pickers. The one I always use is this, but there are some specialized ones as well, like the Pokemon one linked on that page.

TOP TEN POP TEN - Janelle Monáe
This was so tough for me that I had to use an automated picker thingy to help me decide. And then I had to do it again to ensure that there were no anomalies! Why did I put more effort into this than my university choices?

Does anyone remember that “unique” tier list maker?
probably uses this? https://github.com/antialiasis/favorite-picker

Building static websites
Case study 3: Zola
-
Replatforming from Gatsby to Zola!
So after shopping around a bit I found a simple, dependency-less static site generator called Zola. The lack of dependencies sounded very attractive after all the headaches trying to update my Gatsby modules. I wanted to give Zola a try and see what tradeoffs I would need to make coming form a React-based framework to this Rust-based generator.
-
Ask HN: What's the simplest static website generator?
I think you're thinking about Zola: https://github.com/getzola/zola
But yes, if I were to recommend something, it'd be Zola given that there's just one executable that you need to run and there's absolutely no setup required.

If I were to start again from scratch, I'd likely use Zola as SSG (https://www.getzola.org/)

Ask HN: So, static website generators and hosting in 2023/24. What's out there?
I've used Zola (https://github.com/getzola/zola) for a static project homepage a few years ago to showcase examples with a simple description and a wasm app embedded in the page, it worked perfectly for me and the docs was clear on how to use it. It was very easy to set up along with a GitHub action to automatically update the wasm binaries when needed. It is definitely a tool I keep in my mental toolbox as a good default.

Gojekyll – 20x faster Go port of jekyll
I'm currently learning https://www.getzola.org/.
It's more manual than idy like but it's gonna be for a small personal and work website so I don't mind much.
It's super fast.
Doesn't seem to fit your use casr but still.
