Ethereum Foundation removes their canary
Even more relevant would be the Ethereum Improvement Proposal repo (where people submit proposals to change the spec):

What are some alternatives?
aleth - Aleth – Ethereum C++ client, tools and libraries
Nethermind - A robust execution client for Ethereum node operators.
ethereumjs-monorepo - Monorepo for the Ethereum VM TypeScript Implementation
web3.py - A python interface for interacting with the Ethereum blockchain and ecosystem.
syscoin - Syscoin is a crypto currency that is universally merge-mineable with a dual chain architecture both UTXO and EVM. The UTXO chain offers a data availability layer (Proof-Of-Data Availability) to offer censorship resistance for a rollup-driven roadmap.
besu - An enterprise-grade Java-based, Apache 2.0 licensed Ethereum client https://wiki.hyperledger.org/display/besu
eEVM - Enclave ready EVM (eEVM) is an open-source, standalone, embeddable, C++ implementation of the Ethereum Virtual Machine.
cosmos-sdk - :chains: A Framework for Building High Value Public Blockchains :sparkles:
