eth-berlin-19 VS phonon-protocol

I'm a little shortsighted in these sorts of things, and am well prepared to be wrong, but I think a first obvious step is to create a robust incentivisation programme. An incentivisation project was made at ETH Berlin in 2019 by flexdapps, which was pretty prescient of them. Now on tornado you earn AP points and can convert them into TORN or something. That is a bit too much like supermarket loyalty points for my liking, so I would like to see the governance system putting the deposited ETH(and other tokens) to work in a protocol like a yearn vault to earn interest to pay out something a bit more tangible to LPs . i.e. USDC or something other than what I perceive to be supermarket loyalty stamps. (If this is already done, apologies for my elementary mistake; my assumption is the ETH just sits in the pool waiting to be withdrawn again).

Correct the PUFs just make this possible. I’m a layperson, not a developer. This is a link to the tech specs. I know the devs are putting the repos out this week or next but I would recommend joining the discord and getting the answers from Karl or Nate.

Energy subsidiary uses have been the primary driver till now, but I think what everyone on ETHFinance will be most excited about is Phonon, our open standard for wrapping Ethereum assets to be passed around off-chain like cash: private, fast, and free.
