It looks like maybe it is using this "widest" (or perhaps the slightly-smaller "wider" version) background image. Not sure where this is being set, though. Far as I can tell, none of the "default" settings use this even if you pick a different screen size; you'd have to specifically choose one of the different no_meta_{x} layouts to get the wider bars used. And they're all for widescreen anyway, while it looks like you're 4:3? Can you summarize the changes that you've made, and/or can you post your config.xml and any other files you've modified from the theme's default?

I just need help to get Jrassa Version up and running

Windows is outdated and no longer supported officially by the original creator of EmulationStation. I use jrassa's fork that you can find here: https://github.com/jrassa/EmulationStation/releases

Install a compatible ES, eg the latest ES RPI build from: https://github.com/jrassa/EmulationStation/releases/tag/continuous-master

I am using this ES on Win10. i have it setup and can see the games and such, but when I try to launch a game it errors out with "...launch terminated with nonzero exit code 1!". I have read in other places to double quote the config and that works when I run the line from the command prompt, but not directly from ES. Here is my config:

I don't use launchbox but instead use retroarch with Emulationstation as a front end. It's a lovely setup. There is a fork of ES which is constantly updated. Here's a link if anyone's interested
