so i found and am using this app Eruption [https://github.com/X3n0m0rph59/eruption] and they recently (i think) added support for other Roccat devices included mine. However support isn't complete and is just a tad bit buggy but completely usable otherwise.

Linux support for Kova AIMO
yes, i know that there is no official support, but there are community made drivers. (for example eruption or roccat-linux) And since they are certainly not perfect and don't support all devices (i have experienced other community made drivers like nouveau) i asked for users wanting to share their experience with them.

yes, i know that there is no official support, but there are community made drivers. (for example eruption or roccat-linux) And since they are certainly not perfect and don't support all devices (i have experienced other community made drivers like nouveau) i asked for users wanting to share their experience with them.

swarm alternatives?
There is an open source set of tools for Linux, but I haven't gotten that to work myself. Might also work on Windows. From what I have researched, that is the only alternative to Swarm, and some say it is leagues better. Here is the link: https://github.com/roccat-linux/roccat-tools
