Enviro+ Prometheus Woes
so you might be right, here is the script on my pi in /usr/src/enviroplus_exporter https://github.com/tijmenvandenbrink/enviroplus_exporter/blob/master/enviroplus_exporter.py python isn't my strong suit but I'm learning.
I got a Pimoroni enviro+ in the hopes of doing some basic home stat tracking but I'm pretty new to these localized services. After a few attempts with more complicated tutorials that were a bit more vague I decided to focus on this one. I've gotten to the point where I have the pi set up but I did notice that the exporter will only stay running for 15s before failing and I figured its because I didn't have prometheus set up yet. After that I set up prometheus and grafana on my pc and I'm not quite sure on how to connect the pieces(exporter on pi still fails after 15s). Am I supposed to modify the prometheus.yml file or do something with the prometheus localhost web GUI? Thanks in advance.

What's the best way to monitor pihole uptime?
This is definitely overkill, but it you already happen to be doing other monitoring of self hosted things there is a great Prometheus exporter for Pihole: https://github.com/eko/pihole-exporter.
