Lag
You can try using Electron Capture (https://github.com/steveseguin/electroncapture) to visit https://vdo.ninja/ with, and capture/send video that way. (If capturing your webcam via PC) Electron Capture has all throttling limits of Chrome disabled, so it might at least avoid any issue with that.

Is there a DAW or VST that can stream input from over the network (REST request)?
I use ElectronCapture which launches a browser that has no toolbars at all for capturing the full window and is easily scriptable.

OBS Ninja feed overtaxing new M1 Pro Macbook 32gb
Finally, you can use the Electron Capture app instead of OBS Browser source to capture VDO streams. I have compiled it with M1 silicon support, so it should be very efficient. From there, you can window-capture the Electron output into OBS -- it should use very little CPU in this case. https://github.com/steveseguin/electroncapture/releases/tag/2.6.0

I am trying to record websites showing live tv, but sometimes OBS blacks it out. I tried reinstalling OBS one time and it worked, but then went black again. What's up?
Try this app if you are on Windows: https://github.com/steveseguin/electroncapture

Video Won't show up on OBS
If it works with Chrome, but not OBS, you can download the electron capture app and try that instead. https://github.com/steveseguin/electroncapture

Audio Drops Mid-Stream - Please Help!
The solution is to not use the OBS Browser source for audio capture. Instead, you can the app I provide to avoid these OBS issues, and that is the Electron Capture app. https://github.com/steveseguin/electroncapture

Video Glitching warnings - that for webcam only mainly or we also talking about during screen share?
I offer the Electron Capture app (https://github.com/steveseguin/electroncapture), which is a substitute for the OBS browser source, and it solves both the audio and video glitch issues I mention on the main page. It uses a relatively recent version of Chromium, never glitches the audio or video, and can actually improve audio sync and reduce CPU load.

Logitech BRIO not working in OBS.Ninja
You could try the Electron Capture app perhaps as well, if you are looking for a different browser to try: https://github.com/steveseguin/electroncapture
-
Very Low Frame Rate
If things still don't work, you can consider trying the Electron Capture app instead of the OBS Browser source. https://github.com/steveseguin/electroncapture While it may be more hassle to use, it tends to use less CPU, offer better audio and sync, and has fewer stream-killing bugs.

OBS Ninja as an input into vMIX
I've found good success using the Headless (NDI input) using vingester.app, assuming you have a decent CPU. The OBSN Electron app (as noted by Steve, obs.ninja creator) also works well: (https://github.com/steveseguin/electroncapture) . vMix Browser source seemed to eat up resources quicker that the two methods I mentioned previously. Let me know if you have any questions vs vmixcall. Also worth mentioning advanced.vmixcall.com is out of beta and available, though I can't remember if this is still limited to 720p.

Music server with a shared player?
I don't have any experience with it, but it looks like AzuraCast does what you want.
-
Self-hosted music streaming service for radio stations.
I've used AzureCast - https://www.azuracast.com/ - super simple to stand up and run - you can run multiple radio stations with it.
-
Can Rivendell Radio Automation run a station fully automatically?
It’s also worth looking into RadioDj or Azuracast for solid, less complex alternatives. I might be switching back to RadioDj since it’s a tad bit easier to queue up songs.
-
Used Docker Compose, where are my files?
Okay yeah so this is all wrong. I'm using this as reference for an example docker compose file.
-
A way to have a .mp3 playlist playing on a loop I can access that’s hosted on my shared server web hosting account that uses cpanel? (I’m a newbie)
Take a look at AzuraCast. This seems very suited to your need

Audio website? File website?
Azuracast perhaps?

I want to start a radio station what is the best way to learn how?
Azuracast. Not quite as powerful but much easier to run. Also Linux, although you can tinker to get it running under Windows. It would run well in a cloud host like Linode or Digital Ocean, which might mean you don’t need a relay service like Alon depending on how many listeners you have. You can also host it at home of course.
