elasticsearch-dump VS backup-docker

A couple of weeks back at work we had to build a server that should run a query on ES (Requires Authentication) and write output to a file and then publish it to S3. We started using elasticdump to achieve this.

Elasticdump would probably work. I dont know how much data youre moving but I use this for backups and it can move a good amount of data. https://github.com/elasticsearch-dump/elasticsearch-dump

I use https://github.com/tlaanemaa/backup-docker to backup containers and most volumes (actually i have an exclude list for some that i don't care to much). But no clue if a recovery would really work...
