Remote desktop without IP
I tried it. It works for me. But AFAI understand it depends on network/router methodology and it tries to port-forward or mapping... I don't know what it does but it may depend on network topology/configurations. I'm sorry for your issue. I'm not expert about network. Not sure what changed in Teamviewer's Detection scripts But it is no longer allowing Free Non-Commercial use for me. Can Teamviewer provide Home licenses or something to prevent their terrible auto detection from pushing me onto another Remote desktop service?
Take the hint, don't fight the push. TV doesn't want you freeloading non-commercials. I recommend Rustdesk.
