Has Anybody Managed to Get Mystery Gifts (Event Pokemon and Items) with the DNS Exploit Using European Versions of Black and White?
And I recently found out that somebody else is doing the same thing here, a public server where you can play online and get the events. And in this list they only have the French events. So it looks like the data for Spanish events is missing...

What is your ideal/dream story event? What characters would you want to be in it?
Hm looks like it's possible based on this. Just needs you to change the system's date to whatever allowed for the tournament. I'll try it later and hope I get the tournaments.

You can also connect to fanservers to use the online features of the game, just connect your 3DS to an internet connection without any protection (easiest way to do that is use the portable hotspot feature on your phone and don't add a password to it) and then go to the settings of your connection, turn off "Auto Obtain DNS" then change the primary DNS to 172.104.88.237 and then you can trade online with people who have done the same or use the GTS (also obtain old mystery gifts) (More about the fanservers here: https://github.com/barronwaffles/dwc_network_server_emulator/wiki)

I just picked up MH Tri. What's something totally-not-frustrating I should be aware of?
I dont think so sadly. I myself have not tried it but i quickly glanced over the wiki/github page and it does not seem very hard ( i can be very wrong i am no expert).
- Finally repaired my Wii´s bluetooth module. Such great memories from a game with 18 large monsters. Second Yuki was a gunner only run(the last one, as I did a run with every other weapon)
- Public Test Server Roadmap - We're close to Tri online!
- 3 games I picked up 💕 Really looking forward to trying them out!

Who knew we had a dauntless crossover already?
No it is called the MH3 server project https://github.com/sepalani/MH3SP. Its pinned on the main page of this reddit. This started last weekend so very recent.

Monster Hunter Tri - Private Server
When I first gave the project a try, I started using Sepalani's Project but I quickly realized that I was going to rewrite a lot of the code to make the server work further so, I decided to do the rewrite in a language that I feel more comfortable. Does that mean that I'm competing with Sepalani? NO, from the beginning we have been sharing 100% of the knowledge that we have gain from the game. We even have found that there are multiple ways of doing the same thing. In the future I probably would just work with his project, since his project support the JAP version of the game.
What are some alternatives?
