Trying to decide between Amazon Prime Early Access discounts
Linux with Chrome and an Electron-based App that I'm currently in the process of writing. It'll be used in a radio station and it's definitely quiet enough at moderate load. Haven't tested the audio jack, but I've got a FocusRite audio interface I can use if it's noisy or potato quality audio from the 1/8" TRS jack.

Creation of an open source clone of manga aggregation platform
MangaCat was a promising open source aggregator but development has ceased. Guya is good, but it has been hardcoded for use with Kaguya and would require a rewrite to actually become generalised. There is also one more semi-private project in the works and I will update this post with the link if the author gives me permission to do so.
