I use Sharex on Windows and I don't think there's any better tool, so I searched for "run sharex on linux" and there is indeed a guide - https://github.com/ShareX/ShareX/issues/6531 - maybe you can get it to work?

ShareX alternative for Linux?
Having searched this and other linux related subs, I found that many questions were asked in this regard but with few solutions. For those who don't know, ShareX is a light-weight screen recorder app which bundles in several features like not just taking screenshots and uploading to sites like Imgur, etc. but also creating actual screencasts or video recordings, both using desktop or webcam as input device.
