An update on the recently announced Portainer alternative! (With screenshots)
I am using the node library dockerode (Link), which has an "extension" called dockerode-compose (Link). I haven't started the compose integration, but from the looks of it, it should be pretty straightforward.

Docker api for container logs returning garbage before output
If I run it through a demuxing process like this one https://github.com/apocas/docker-modem/blob/master/lib/modem.js#L347 then I get clean output
