docker-lidarr-extended VS Plex-Discord-Media-Updates

Lidarr handles your music downloads, sorts them and adds the correct metadata for your library to be picked up by Jellyfin. I just found tidal-dl and would like that to be my download source. lidarr-extended suppposedly allows this, but tidal-dl doesn't show up as a source, and I can't find anything in the repo describing how to use tidal-dl to handle downloads/index items.

Switched to https://github.com/RandomNinjaAtk/docker-lidarr-extended . It's no integration on the UI, but rather scripts in the background grabbing the missing/cutoff not met albums from lidarr and trying to download them from deezer or tidal. Works like a charm.

FWIW, I'm using lidarr-extended, not the linuxserver or other instances.

Like the idea, but actually I think lidarr-extented (https://github.com/RandomNinjaAtk/docker-lidarr-extended) has a more consistent approach. This tool grabs the wanted/cutoff unmet list on a shedule and searches for the albums in deezer and/or tidal and imports them into lidarr. Tagging can be done via beets or lidarr (on import). Even can download the videos as an extra.

I'm using Lidarr extended docker image from RandomNinjaAtk. The standard Lidarr notifications work fine but there is an option to have an alert about the 'extended' scripts via the included webhook in the container.

I wrote a few python scripts, but the only one I have published right now is this one - it sends plex library updates to a discord server via webhook and puts it in a nicely-formatted message (there are screenshots on the github page). I'm planning to publish a couple more of my scripts but they mostly also relate to integrating plex (and its related services) with discord. For example, another one maintains a few discord channels that act as counters for my plex server, and another one that updates tautulli and overseerr nicknames / display names to match discord usernames.

I used to use this, but it got really annoying/spammy when adding a lot of media as it sends an individual message for each show/movie, so I wrote a customizable python script that gets everything from a given period and lists it nicely via a discord webhook.
