I stopped using my torrent client and started running AMD - Automated Music Downloader. https://github.com/RandomNinjaAtk/docker-amd . This will look at your missing songs in lidarr and download them and import them.

Setup AMD which uses deemix to download those specific files

I found a cool plugin for Lidarr a while ago that acts as an indexer / downloader but actually utilises the Deemix api in the backend. Works really well and use that occasionally if I want to arbitrarily download an artist’s discography.

You might also want to take a look at something like soundiiz. It can transfer playlists from one service to another, I've used it in the past, I'm not sure about the limitations of the free service but if I remember correctly it should be easy to transfer your playlist from spotify to plex and I think it also shows you the songs it couldn't find on your server. Compared to Spotify, creating, editing, and sharing music playlists is just painful and not very powerful. Is there a better way to deal with all of this? I've managed to get my Spotify playlists imported into Plex (using https://github.com/rnagabhyrava/plex-playlist-sync which worked OK, but missed finding a lot of songs in my library).
