Ask HN: Can I see your scripts?

Nothing too complicated here, but I wanted to control my display’s brightness using my keyboard on Linux. Turned out to be pretty easy with ddcutil!

Designing a coherent set of keyboard shortcuts
Coherent and consistent keyboard shortcuts are incredibly important. We spent a ton of time throughout many projects fine-tuning the choices for GitAlias @ https://github.com/gitalias/gitalias
A challenge is being willing to cut shortcuts that people like, but that don't cohere well, or can't be consistent. A specific example: GitAlias uses "git p" always as "git pull" and never as "git push".
