Running a CPU Benchmark on Apple Silicon M1
I created a benchmark based on ffmpeg/primitive (CPU-bound) to compare my Mac Mini M1 to my MacBook Pro-2013 and Dell XPS15-2017 (both i7 - 16GB). The M1 is up to 5 times faster than my MBP and up to 2 times faster than the Dell.
The Github repo allows for outside contributions: https://github.com/pforret/m1_benchmark
