Cannot speak for the mods of this subreddit, but as far as pooling resources and references, and as far as providing notification to users about TW update, we are looking into adding these features to the community api: https://github.com/openSUSE/defrag-api. There are probably a dozen interesting minor side projects that could use some more publicity.

bugzilla is now faster
We already have https://code.opensuse.org with pagure and at least 2 internal gitlab instances, but migration would be a major effort in any case. Not only my https://github.com/bmwiedemann/obsbugzilla/ would need new code, but also maintenance team's notifier bot, IBM's bugproxy and who knows how many more.
